Moving&Growing

We're moving... and Jess is trying to think big thoughts (like, come on January..).

Having been unable to find a good job for Eric in our area, we've been looking at jobs around the US. We've decided to move to Brandon, Florida and will be leaving NH on July 27. Our lease ends here August 31, but by staying with the same property management company, we're able to move without paying any fees - a good deal for us!

Eric's sister, Alaina, lives less than an hour and a half from Brandon. She's working at Disney, so although it will be rough having to visit, we're looking forward to being able to see her more often. On the other side, we'll be a bit farther from everybody else and since we won't be able to travel for Christmas, we're hoping a sunny holiday is in a lot of your plans!

Eric is currently applying to any and all jobs in the Brandon area (South Tampa / Lakeland) but is hoping to eventually end up with a good engineering or teaching job. Meanwhile, we were hoping Jess would be able to transfer to a BestBuy in the area. Unfortunately, we're not sure that's going to work - and we could really use some prayers in that area!

We'd appreciate your prayers for both of us during this time: for the move, the job search, and for the health of Jess and the baby.

Updates Long Overdue...

A lot has happened since we last updated, sorry about that!

 

We went to Ohio to celebrate Alaina's graduation and move to Disney;

 

We gave the cat a bath;

 

And we visited a butterfly farm with some friends to try out Jess' new camera 

(unfortunately, it was very moist in there and kept fogging the lens).

Jess got the loan she was hoping for and recently received all her new camera equipment. Unfortunately,  it's been pouring non-stop in southern NH, and there's been no chance to shoot any outdoor sports.

Eric's had some promising job opportunities in the Florida area, and we're planning to move down there in the next few months.

Oh, and for those of you that made it this far, we're expecting! We heard a good strong heartbeat today at only 9 weeks, and the Doc was impressed. We're counting down the days till January 21st!
