Half Here

We're half here!

Eric is now in our new apartment in Brandon, Florida. Huge thanks to Chris and Don for helping us load (or loading for us!) and to Alaina and Elizabeth for helping out with the unloading - we couldn't have done it without you.

Jess is still in New Jersey until after Megan's bridal shower, but we will be back together in Florida late on August 4th.

Now down to the continued business of finding jobs, new doctors, and all that other fun moving stuff.

We'll send you an update with some real pictures once Jess and the camera make it down here.

Ready to move!

Jess is starting to show... but meanwhile Engine still thinks he's the baby...

And he is madly enjoying the empty apartment...

... yes, he got there by himself!

We hit the road tomorrow with Eric and Engine headed to Florida and Jess to NJ until after Megan's bridal shower. We've got a lot ahead and we might be hard to get in touch with for a while, but we'll keep you updated the best we can.

Picnic Time!

We finally got some sunshine so we had a 4th of July picnic on the 5th, complete with Mom R. and friends Kristi and Arilyn. We enjoyed fresh fruit while Eric cooked sausages on the grill, then we fed the ducks our crumbs and lit some sparklers. We also finally got some pictures with the awesome picnic basket which was a gift from Mom and Dad S. It was made right here in NH and will be a great (and often used) keepsake for Florida life.

Boston for the 4th

We went to Boston for dinner with Mom, Meg, and George on the 4th of July.

Mostly, everybody took pictures of Jellybean, who didn't get to go to dinner.

She had frog instead.

And a few licks of Eric's face.

11 weeks

Here's our little growing thing at 11 weeks.

Jumping around like crazy until they needed a different camera view, then wouldn't budge.

It was fun to see some progress and it made all those miserable days seem not quite so bad.
