Lily is quite speedy at crawling now, she crawls up and over things (or people), brings books and crawls up on our laps, and gets pretty close to Engine before he can wake up enough to jump to a higher location!
We took her voting with us this week. Thanks to a torrential downpour, the precinct was empty and the poll workers (Great-Grandmothers themselves) were just oh-so-delighted to hold Lily until Mommy and Daddy had finished with paperwork. I'm pretty sure they had us do extra just so they could hold Miss Sleepy for longer! (Our new address was the cause of the paperwork as our transfer had not gone through in time to make the printed list.)
After Lily helped with the patriotic duties, she helped Mommy unpack! She started pulling herself up on things earlier this week, and now she's doing it with ease and on everything (us included!). She's quite proud of herself, as you can see!
We're thinking it's time for another haircut, what do you think?

Nah, don't cut her hair just yet. It's cute longer! Just keep it out of her eyes :-) Love her thick head of hair!
