Leaving Bapci and Djiadji's, we headed into the city. Having sold their house in rural NJ, Jess' parents are staying in the missionary/teacher housing across from Newark Christian School, where Mom works. We spent Christmas there with Mom, Dad, Chris, and Sam - Chris' very mellow pit bull puppy.
We brought Dad a TV he "ordered" and helped him set it up. Of course, we had to test it out with a few movies. We watched WALL*E, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, and Dummy...
and still had time to play a few games and eat a lot of food. (Notice the rival shirts...)
There's a bit of a yard separating the missionary housing, and Sam would run laps around the perimeter or play ball with anyone who would. Across the street you can see the school building where Mom teaches.
Chris and Sam, opening gifts from Meg on Christmas morning. Chris is growing into the Maine look!

over too soon, but a great time and a wonderful Christmas.
