The day before we left, Dad took us all for a walk to see the cherry blossoms in Newark. The trees weren't in full bloom yet, but it was really nice out! Chris brought girlfriend Holly home to visit and we enjoyed meeting her as well. (Above pictures is Chris and Holly at the Cherry Blossom Festival.)
Lily got a bit of my cold towards the end of our trip, and she was pretty miserable. She would only sleep on her side, like this. Thankfully she was feeling much better in time for the return flight!
After two weeks away, we were both really really glad to get home and see Eric again. Of course, he was mighty glad to see us too!
